Build the Life You Have Always Wanted
with a results-oriented blueprint designed especially for you

Are you:
- A mid-career professional wanting to level up your teaching and/or playing opportunities, but feeling stuck and unsure where to start when it comes to the business side of things?
- Trying to figure out how to launch your career and gain visibility without the aid of a management or PR team?
- A successful professional who is ready to take things up a level (or ten) and could use some guidance, support, and accountability?
It’s so easy to find yourself feeling stuck in your creative career. After all, you went to the right schools, you attended the best summer programs, and studied with the best and most famous teachers. At first, your every step was dictated to you. You were “on the right track.”
But then, as you began to settle into your professional career and exciting new gigs, cushy teaching opportunities, and invitations to join faculty lists started to come in, life happened. Responsibilities, family, bills.
And now here you are, wondering, “Is this it? Is this the life I worked so hard to achieve?”
Maybe not! And it’s not too late to re-write the script and get you on the right track, heading toward the life you truly want.

“I’ve worked with Kate a few times and will keep going back to her because she has this natural gift for breaking down overwhelming tasks so that they’re not so daunting; she helps dissect the bigger end-goal into achievable “mini-goals”, which lead to the fulfillment of main objectives.
She is the quintessential really-well-balanced person managing her own fulfilling professional and personal life, yet always finds time to calmly give you her undivided attention, encouraging and offering genuine support because she really is invested in your achievements.“

Hello! I’m Kate, a career and mindset coach for high-performing creatives.
My career began as a cellist. After training at the New England Conservatory of Music and the New World Symphony, I settled in Boston, MA, where I did the usual dance of chamber musician, freelance orchestral player, contemporary artist, occasional soloist, teacher, and program administrator.
When I hit my 30’s I was making a healthy six-figure salary, but I was also completely burnt out, exhausted, and in desperate need of an 8th day in my week!
I realized I had spent 10 years saying yes to anything that came my way, without truly shaping my life and career the way I wanted. I had grown so accustomed to my teachers and mentors laying out the plan for me that when I left school and became a professional, I didn’t quite realize that that was on me now!
Now I live on a beautiful island and have a career I adore. I’ve given up my performance life to make more room for the kind of teaching, writing, and coaching work that lights my soul on fire–working with other creatives in the fields of music, dance, art, film, and theater on the business and mindset skills they need to thrive and succeed in their dream lives. I’ve also managed to maintain (and even double!) that six-figure salary–only this time minus the burnout and exhaustion.
Let me use my experience to help you see your dreams come to fruition too. Together we will create your personalized, results-oriented blueprint that will lead you to the career and lifestyle you have always wanted.
To get started, or to see if this is something that would benefit you, I offer a free 30-minute discovery call. It gives us a chance to get to know one another in an informal setting–like we’re getting together for a cup of coffee.
“Thank you for knowing me both as a musician and as a person. For understanding who I am and encouraging me to do what works best for me in order to be the best version of myself. Through you, I was able to find a fresh, new confidence in myself and know that I can do and be anything with the right attitude. Thank you a million times over!”
Ashley Wang, cellist

When you schedule your call with me, you’ll be asked to answer a few questions so that I can get an idea of what’s important to you, where you are in your career, and what you’d like to accomplish. This important step allows me to make the most of our time together. Some things we might cover in this initial call:
- Obstacles you are facing (both logistical and emotional)
- Your current mindset and how it might be affecting your work.
- Your big-picture dreams
- Your day-to-day routines
After the call, we might both feel that working together would be a great fit, or we might need to schedule a follow-up call. If we decide that this might not be right for you, I can offer other resources that might be a better fit for your current needs. Either way, you’ll come away with one or two action steps to try that will help you get closer to your goals.
“Your dedication to me as a coach and mentor has been an integral part of my musical and personal development. I appreciate your guidance from the bottom of my heart, and you will continue to be an inspiration to me as I move forward in my musical career.”
